Product changes and new products fail

Changes to sections, subsections, products and new products are failing to upload either using complete web refresh or publish to web.
Tried renaming sections without success.

In my experience. This doesn't necessarily fail with a permisions error and can be a silent fail.

I had this yesterday after a Microsoft Update with IE11 on W7.

Existing sites would upload apparently fine - full list being sent in Actinic but only a handful of pages being changed after looking at the server FTP logs.

Uploading to a new server address would fail at the merge request with the error screen shown in the above link but with nothing uploading at all.

I system restored in the end to remove IE11
