Where to find .cat files in Site1

Getting the "A00029.cat. No such file or directory"

So Ive had a good look around and seems one solution is to delete all .cat files on server and Site1 folder. But for the life of me i cant find the .cat files in Site1. I was lead to believe the .cat files were generated during the upload process.

Last time i had this issue i just cleared all files on the server, kept the CGI folder but cleared the files and done a website Purge and Refresh but hasn't worked this time.

Im using V10.04 and don't use Internet explorer.

Started when customer were telling me they got an error when checking out so i did a web purge and now this.

If you're using Windows, you have Internet Explorer installed whether you choose to use it or not.

If you're using Windows 7 or 8, then Windows Update may have automatically updated you to IE11. Check it as already advised.

Im on XP and Explorer is version 6

Wow! That was obsolete in 2006 and is a glaring security risk nowadays. Especially as it (like your XP) won't receive any security updates after April 2014.

Anyway it's unlikely to be the cause of your problem. To locate the .CAT files, you could use Windows Search facility to look for A0000.cat.

Yeh I know, I've been using chrome for a while. I tried searching for the files and couldn't find them so I deleted the site from the server again and did a fresh purge and seems to have revived it. My Actinic is getting more flakey in its old age.
