There are known problems with Internet Explorer 11 and Windows 8.1 both of which cause upload problems

If you have Windows 8.1 you cannot run Actinic V10 successfully. See http://community.sellerdeck.com/showthread.php?p=341571 and scroll down to the Windows 8.1 only paragraph.

You have hard choices:

Stay with Actinic V10 and get a Windows 7 machine to run it on.

Stay with Actinic V10 and run it in a virtual machine (XP or W7) within a Windows 8.1 machine. XP would be risky due to end of security patch support after next month.

Upgrade to SD 2013.

If you're upgrading hardware due to the end of support of XP, you could also consider keeping your XP system going and reconfiguring your router so it has no access to the Internet other than to upload / download to your hosting service.
