Importing whole site due to broken laptop

Can anyone help me please.

I need to import the whole site onto another laptop due to a broken screen.

The whole actinic site/folders has been saved to an external hard drive

I have located the site 1 folder within Actinic v10 which I need to import but from hereon I am struggling.

I have File - Snapshot - Import Site - Site 1, but then I am stuck, what do I choose to open & what type of file?

Sorry but the lady who normally deals with the website is unavailable and I feel I am floundering in the dark.

You need to re-install v10 onto the new computer

Then replace the sites folder with a copy of the old sites folder you saved from the old drive

It should now open in the new computer as normal

Long time many years since i done it but think it still works ok

Just make sure you keep the old files safe before you do anything

If you plug a monitor into your laptop (look in its manual for details of using an external monitor) you'll be able to run SD and make a Snapshot of your site onto a portable drive.

Then you can import that snapshot via File / Snapshot / Import Site. This will copy over some useful registry stuff which just replacing the Site folder won't.
