Also Bought Confined to cart only

Hello. Within the marketing tab you can add "also bought" which displays both on the product page and also within the shopping cart. Is there an easy way to edit the layout to only display the "also bought" once a customer has added to cart? In other words dont display when viewing products. Apologies if this has been covered before, couldnt see it when I checked. Would be grateful for any ideas on how to do this.

You could remove the line of code for Also Bought in the product layout in the Design Library.
