    Worldpay Order Confirmation Issue

    For those not in the know, unless a customer actively seeks to return to the merchants site after completing their order, an order confirmation email is never sent out to them... this also has a significant affect conversion tracking.

    Does v11 address this by using the Worldpay callback feature, or in some other way!?

    Actinic already uses the WorldPay callback to record the Authorisation.

    The issue is common to all PSPs that do not automatically bounce back to the receipt page when the payment is completed. This behaviour will be in effect unless Worldpay change their system. In this respect v11 is the same as v10.

    That said, I do believe one can customise the Worldpay pages so maybe a message can be put in place to encourage buyers to click the appropriate button back to the shop so that they get their receipt and email.
