    Demo hangs on purchase confirmation

I'm using the Actinic v11 demo.
    I'm deploying to 64bit Windows 7, IIS 7 and ActiveState Perl 5.12.4
    I am connecting via http://localhost/

Everything works perfectly well until I finalise the order. I have selected "capture CC for later use" and fill in details (no SSL cert) and click to finalise. The button changes to "Saving your order" and then attempts to connect to localhost, but apparently gets no response and the CGI process times out.

Is this an issue with being an Evaluation copy? or have a I configured my server incorrectly?
    Any suggestions?

Personally I'd ignore it. You can't use the capture CC details method anyway these days as it isn't PCI compliant.

For testing offline, it's probably easiest just to use the send invoice method.

There are other posts re Saving your order not working. Search for Saving your order to see.

What browser are you using? One problem I found was when using the Chrome or Safari browsers with some invalid HTML in the overall layout.

        Hi,

I am told there is a known bug with the Google Chrome browser, if you are using that?

        I had the same problem.

It is due to be fixed in the next release.

          Thanks guys,

I'm using Firefox, but the issue was with my Perl version.
Rolled back from 5.14 to 5.8 and all worked fine.
