Google Data Feed Brand Variable

Does anyone know of a way to make the default value of the Google Data Feed Brand Variable to be the Section Name.

I have sections by brand names and under each section I have each product listed in their own single product page as a sub-section of the brand section.

I would like the brand variable to default to the brand name.

I know that this can be done with the Mole End Mash (which I have incidentally) but just wondered if it was possible just using the brand variable in the Library.

Set the variable to 'use parent' and be settable at section level and then set it at each TLS, the use parent facility should cascade that down to all sub-sections in one.
