    Order Tracking

    Hi, I can't seem to get online order tracking to work. Whenever I put an order number and postcode in the boxes and click Lookup Order it always says "There are no orders to display".

    In Business Settings / Online Order Tracking I have everything ticked. And when I receive orders it says it is Updating Order Tracking Data. And yet I can't seem to track anything.

    Am I missing something? Does anyone know what files are sent to the server, so that I can look to see if they are there etc.

    Any info useful. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem.

    The order number and post-code fields are case-sensitive. Have you been using lower case?

        Hi Jeremy

        Is this working for you now? In case you havent done so already, could you use the "Copy Order Number to the Clipboard" option when you right-click on an order, just so any typos are eliminated?
        If still no joy, suggest contacting Actinic support via phone (if you have a cover contract with us) or email so someone can take a look at this for you.

          Hi there. No still not working. I will contact support, but I like to try and get things working myself. Is there any info regarding files that I can look for on the server ?

            Hi Jeremy

            You can check to see if a file called ordertracking.fil is there in the acatalog folder on the server. If it isnt, then best to contact support so your snapshot can be investigated. But if it does exist and still order tracking is an issue, again, best to have the snapshot investigated.

              Hi thanks for that.
              I can see the file is there. I have opened it and there is loads of order data in there. I have even tried tracking order for data that I can see in the file but it doesn't work.

                Website full refresh. Everything ticked for order tracking and synchronisation.

                Support are at a loss.

                Has anyone else got online order tracking to work ? Was it painful ? Is there a secret ?

                  I tested online tracking during Beta testing and had a dummy website up with online order tracking for Actinic users to see it in Action so yes it does work.

                  Just uploaded the site again, using V11.0.0 and order tracking is working fine.

                    Hi,

                    Sorry to hear you are having problems.

                    I have used order tracking successfully since I upgraded to V11 about a month ago. It installed without problem, the only thing to remember is the input is case sensitive, other than that works a treat.

                    In 'Order Tracking' all tick boxes are ticked, and in 'Synchronisation' I have it set to update every half-hour (0.5). So far everything works well, and the number of 'Iv'e just called to chase an order....' calls have reduced.

                    Have you modified the OT/Customer Account page/layout? Have you tried re-setting back to 'Factory Settings' just in case you have accidentally altered something, or it has become corrupted.
