Is there a fix for this? We are having the same issue with a site upgraded from version 8.
In Business Settings / Synchronisation
We have checked automatically upload customer account changes every 1 hour.
In Business Settings / Ordering
We have Create an Account only is the customer chooses to
In Business Settings / Online Order tracking
We have everything checked.
We place an order, entering a password where prompted.
We retrieve orders, and wait a few hours for the thing to Sync
We visit the Recent Orders page and enter the Order Number and postcode and get the message "There are no orders to display, Please note that recent orders may not appear immediately"
We visit the Login page, enter the email address and password we set, and get the message "No such user, or invalid password"
When I look on the server, we have a file present called orderstatus.fil, ordertracking.fil and that contains details of recent orders
No still not working for us either. We have ticked everything, refreshed, uploaded, downloaded, you name it. We have the files on the server too, with the order details in them.
After serveral weeks waiting development came back with this suggestion: "make sure you have everything ticked in synchronisation" !!!!
OK, so this is a feature that works for some, but not for others then.....
A pity, as this was the main reason for our client to upgrade.
I am pretty sure it must be something simple, we just need Actinic to look into it and let us know what it is. Would be great to get this function working.

With the help of Kirthi in Actinic Support, after several days I now have fully functioning Order Tracking for not logged in customers! In the end I had to run a SQL Queryin Access on the actinic database to remove masses of old orders that I had imported from V8.
It's too complex to relate here so I suggest you get in contact with Kirthi.
