Online accounts, tracking and stock control with more than one site

I watched the introduction to V11 webinar last night as was very impressed by the online account sign-up, order tracking and history viewing. But can’t see how it can practically work for us.

We have 10 different online stores, although I could live with the enhanced features only being on 6 of them. At the moment we use various mole end extras to download orders and mark shipped etc within actinic and then manage all the order processing and stock control within One Stop Order Processing. This works really well, but does means that the info in Actinic is not actually accurate and we certainly couldn’t use for stock control, or order tracking.

Anyone no of a way to have the orders download into the various actinic store, have the information transferred to a single location where we could process (so hold stock info, print and ship orders) and then have this info transferred back to actinic and then have all 10 sites being updated again?

I know one answer would be to redesign and only have one store, but until actinic can do best sellers by section or product category I don’t think this will be possible.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

You could create one master store and have each TLS as a shop in its own right with its own skin and look, even logo too. Series of shops all within one master shop like a department store. You could choose the shop across the top and the menu down the left would switch to just show departments within that TLS. Best sellers will not run auto on the different sections, perhaps a compromise would be to have your own marketing lists manually maintained, or perhaps get clever with also boughts or related, lots of options.

If you can go one big shop, seems to solve lots of admin nightmares and creates one relatively small one.
