Order Processing : Add Adjustment : error

We have recently upgraded to V11. From time to time we make price adjustments to orders and do this by using the Add Adjustment feature when order processing. We attempted to do this in V11 for the first time yesterday and Actinic generated an 'encountered an enexpected error....' message.

The message advised we take a snapshot and send to Actinic. We took a snapshot (haven't emailed it to Actinic yet) and retried the process (just to see what happened) low and behold it work perfectly?!

I've done a search but can't find any reference to this being a known bug etc but wondered if anyone else has encountered similar.

    Many thanks.

We are also experiencing this problem since "upgrading" to latest version.

We used to be able to add an adjustment to any existing order (usually a negative amount for price matching or such), choose the VAT type and away you go.

Now the VAT field is either a) not chooseable (greyed out), or b) blank on the drop-down.

    Then the program crashes.

How can it be possible this is happening since the "upgrade" ?

      Hello

Could you tell me which version you upgraded from? I have referred to my colleague in support to see if they have come across any similar issues in the recent past that could help.

We were on the first v11 and are now on the latest v11. Not sure why that is important.

          Hello Jeremy

Thanks for confirming. I tried both v10.0.4 to v11.0.3 and v11 to v11.0.3 upgrades but could not replicate the problem, hence wanted to confirm the pre-upgrade version so I am on the same page.
Meanwhile I have also conferred with my colleague in support and he could not recall a similar issue having been raised in the past.
What I have tried my end in the upgraded site is to edit an order, choose Add Adjustment and the moment I start typing in an amount (both negative and positive), the Tax 1 Treatment field is enabled and I am able to choose an option, or a custom tax amount and OK.
If the problem persists with your sites, I would suggest getting support to have a look at any possible problem with the databases post ugprade.

We have also experienced this problem. We upgraded from V9 up to 11.0.2 and started getting the problem. The only way we can fix the problem is to add a zero value product to the order and then we find that we can then add adjustments to the order.

Once the problem manifests itself it appears to be database wide, not specific to one order. Every time an adjustment is added, actinic falls over until the zero value product is added to an order, then normal service resumes until the next incidence of the problem.

We have this problem too. Nightmare when customers want something extra added to their order or when a price adjustment is made after completing the order.

                Morning everyone .....

This seems quite strange yet worrying, especially since we are not able to replicate this our end so far. Can either of you send me a link to download your pre or post upgrade snapshot(s) to krcsupport [at] sellerdeck dot co dot uk please?
