Upload error messages and return of the (setup) blob

    Hello

I have upgraded our site from actinic 8 to actinic 11 and it is live on a test url at http://www.denservus.co.uk/

When I make a change and try to upload I get the following error message:
    --------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: A layout or style sheet specifies source files (with "SRC=" commands) that do not exist in the specified location on your PC or network. Your site may still function correctly, provided the files are present in the expected location on the web. But your site preview may not be accurate.

If you would like to refer to a file on your website outside your acatalog folder or within a subfolder of the acatalog folder, you should supply the full URL.

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Actinic v11\DShop_2O11_TEST\ma000004.pl
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

No idea where this ma000004pl is being referenced from but the script is in the cgi bin - so I can click okay and ignore it and it uploads changes. However when I click on a product fragment I get a white page and this message:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    A General Script Error Occurred
Error: There was a problem with some information in the online shop so we cannot take your order. Please contact the shop owner with this information so that they can rectify the problem. Details: The version number (27) of one of your uploaded data files (Setup blob) is incompatible with the existing script version (25). Solution: Refresh the site.Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner
    ---------------

I tried changing the script number but it didn't help. Should I purge and refresh the site? Any thoughts appreciated as this meant to be going live on wednesday...

    Hello Susie

Running a purge and refresh is a good option as the error message is hinting at incompatible script version. Please note though that if the site has any customised perl files, the modifications would need to be re-instated as this process will copy unchanged files from the Original folder into the site folder.
If however, the issue persists, suggest contacting Actinic support via phone or email via this form. Hope this helps.
