Products Out Of Stock

Hi,

Just wondering on peoples thoughts as to weather products that are out of stock should be shown as out of stock , or hidden on the website ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Shown as out of stock for me all the way, as long as coming back into stock. SEO and customer awareness being main reasons.

I show them as out of stock, but still allow the customer to order them.
