custom variable not rendering correctly

I am trying to get some javascript working with custom variables, but the page renders incorrectly giving code instead of showing the picture that the variable refrences.
if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most gratful!

Is it the spelling of medium, you have meduim.

You have chosen File Content instead of File Name for the variable's Type. Revisit the Library and fix that.

File Content, inserts the content of the file (which is why you see <gibberish>EXIF as it's a binary image file), rather than just the name.
