Adding orders for products that aren't on website

    Hi

We sometimes sell small parts that aren't products on our website. I'd like to be able add these orders to Actinic, give them a description and assign the cost. Is there a simple way to do this? Before I created a misc product that cost £1 then changed the quantity to how much I sold the part for but that was a bit messy.

Is there a way I can just create an order and specify a price for a part that's not a product?

    Thx
    Richard

You could create a miscellaneous product then:

Order Processing > (offline Order Processing) 'Allow Unit Price Override'

First Tackle - Fly Fishing and Game Angling

Thanks, this now works much better. I've ticked the box and hid the product. The only other thing is the description. I've called the product "offline custon part/product". When I create the new order and select this product there is a box called "specific information/other info". It's greyed out. Where could I enter something during the new order process that relates to the actual part?

We have done similar, created a hidden product and set the settings to allow price override.

Then on the hidden product, go to prompts and add a prompt such as "Description:"

Then each time you sell the product, you will be prompted to enter the description.
