Styling missing from cart

Just had a customer report this to me....

using Chrome & Vista. they say the cart is being stripped of all styling, but the website remains the same.

The left hand scripting (under the product menu) is the recently viewed items.

Has anyone seen this before? I'm looking into it.. I do wonder if its a URL issue. I've asked the customer for more info.

Certainly not the norm, would have surfaced long before now. The HEAD area of the site is almost certainly screwed. BASEHREF or doctype the most likely, i'll go with doctype having been incorrectly changed.

They've sent me this other image... (attached)

The URL was coming back as http://www.christiebears.com//acatalog/acatalog/

This was creating an incorrect Actinic Basehref.

So i've hunted down the culprit and fixed it. (It was a URL listed as src="/acatalog/myproduct.html" so I've changed it to src="../acatalog

that seems to have fixed it!

Also had to purge session files after upload to reset the Basehref as it refused to recognise the change.

Why is it that you can be troubleshootuing for hours and as soon as you post the issue on the community, you find a fix to the issue. (I did this before I read both your replies!)
