Product duplicates changing to other products!

im getting fed up with actinic, this always happens to me and i'm just enquiring to see if others have the same problem

i create duplicates of a product to put in a section
for example i will create duplicates of all the t-shirts i have from different brands and put it in a section called t-shirts

this is all fine, but when it comes to deleting them when they have sold out, things start going screwy

i use cut to get rid of products as deleting and then purging is frustrating as it deletes all my sizes as well.

after i have cut some duplicates i get errors start to come up, then the product doesnt match up with what its supposed to be

for example in my content tree if i click and highlight the product, on the right in the product details it will have the details for a product a couple of lines down

am i alone on this and is there a fix for it!!

as it stands i have to delete all these duplicates and put new ones in, all because actinic cant handle it

After performing a few "cuts" do you regularly compact your databases? "Housekeeping | Compact Database"

It can me a significant difference in performance, especially when it has not be compacted for a while.

An Access database that has many add/remove/edit operations on it can swell in size, full of unallocated memory within the disk space. This excessive memory allocation can cause unexpected functionality for a program accessing the database, including severely slowing down database accessing.
Compacting can resolve these types of issues as well as improving performance.

            Hello Rafiq

Sorry to hear about the issues with the DB. If the error persists, I suggest contacting our support team and having them take a look at the database for errors.

Do you have a ticket number for your support ticket?
