Shopping Cart Page Marketing Message

Hi,

At the moment I have a marketting/upsell message at the bottom of the shopping cart page. I would like to vary this by having a pool of say about five different messages. A random message would then be delivered each time. So the message is not dependant upon the cart contents, and is just an indication of the other types of product that we sell.

Any ideas?

A Javascript would do it: Javascript random text or Javascript random quote or Javascript random link.

Thanks Louise, have played around with a few things that you recommended and seems to working as I had hoped, thanks so much.Have to polish a few things up.
