    Unable to Download Orders

    I've just upgraded to v11 from v8 and the site seems to be fine apart from not being able to download orders. It tells me the number of orders but then shows this error message

    An invalid command was sent to the web site.

    Possible Cause:
    Corrupt communications
    Recommendation:
    Retry
    Resolution:
    If retry fails, try again later

    Command: Filename:


    Retry just brings up the same message.

    Cancel, I think, loses the order (luckily so far just my test order) as it then says there are no orders to download but still shows the error message.

    Any ideas? This would happen at a weekend!

    Edit: I also get this message when uploading changes. After clicking cancel it seemed to carry on as usual. At the end there was this message

    An error occurred while merging files on the remote site. Error copying from 'from' file.

    although the changes were successfully made on the site.

    Update:

    Just to let you know that all of these problems seem to have been solved by a refresh of the site.

      Okay, I'm trying to refresh my website - going live.

      I had an FTP error, which is nothing new, but now I get this:

      The previous poster said a refresh fixed it, but that's what I'm trying to do!
      I've rebooted; compact and repaired; purged, and still I get it.

      When I click on Cancel, it starts to do the upload, but as the upload takes all night (90GB of MP3s) I'm reluctant to start it off if it's going to be a waste of time.

      Any assistance welcome!

          Hi Norman,

          As it happens, ignoring the message and continuing with the refresh (it has just finished), seems to work and the website is now up and running.

          I have done a 'publish' since, with no problem.
          I am not doing another refresh if I can help it, so I can't say for now whether the problem is gone.

          I'll let you know if it comes up again.
