Link to search page from outer layout

This seems like a really daft question to me, but how do I link direct to the search page from an outer layout?

I have a quick search box in the outer layout already, but I want a text link 'advanced search' beside it which goes straight through to the search page (includes section/searchable property inputs).

Thanks, I had looked for a search.html page, but not in the right place. I thought it existed!
