? symbol instead of £ in emails

    ? symbol instead of £ in emails

    All of my customer and admin emails show a ? instead of the £ sign.

    Any ideas ?

    I use the latest v11 software

    Not seen that in emails before but when it happens on the main page templates it is due to a UTF=8 encoding being set in the <head> HTML which Actinic doesn't like.

      Update

      Just an update so if anyone else has the same issue.

      I checked my regional settings and all ok. Was advised by support to try the GBP setting and that displays fine so just the issue still with the £ symbol.

      As it doesnt really matter to me, i have left mine working with the GBP setting.

      Hopefully support will come back with the answer and i will let you know.
