Changing Url Structure

On the automatically generated SPP within v11 is there any way to change the product url generated?

For example;
http://www.piratepartysupplies.co.uk...5--Q60752.html
it would be handy if I could amend this to remove some of the 'dashes'.

dont know if there is a way to do this automaticaly, but you can change it in the product page tab, just edit the page name

not sure it can be automated, though you could run a script through your database - but playing with the database can be dangerous - so back up (you've been warned)
