Order Confirmation Emails

Sorry if this has been answered before but I cant seem to find it anywhere. We are about to launch our first store. In testing we found the email order confirmations and invoices have lots of alignment problems (e.g. in the products bought list/table). Is there any way to get them to format better or look more like the printed invoices which look very professional? Many thanks in advance for your help.

Expand your email view window and the alignment may be ok. Unfortuntael this cannot be changed much withour getting into perl scripts and is text only.
