    Default BASEREF - change URL?

    Hi

I want to force my home page on my new wholesale site to go to specific homepage, as it keeps reverting to a previous one which is wrong. This is the wrong home page:

    http://www.dentalwholesale.co.uk/

The top banner is squashed even though I have updated the homepage in the site1 folder. I have also tried refreshing the site and changing the script ID. It simply reverts back to the old version. The one I want to use is:

    http://www.dentalwholesale.co.uk/acatalog/home.html

I believe I need to change the default BASEHREF so it goes to the 2nd url and not the previous. This is located in the design library under 'Base Href''

    <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="<actinic:variable name="CatalogHomeURL" selectable="false" />" FORCED=1 />

Or is it more simple to do? Help!

There should be no HTML pages in the site folder apart from the test pages, especially any page called 'index.html' as the software will ignore any generated page and upload this in preference.

Please copy this file into another folder and reference it there if required.

The top left link is wrong and has been amended to proper link on the new home page. The banner is also the right height and there is a hot spot link when you click on the url www.dentalshop.co.uk

The old home page cannot be accessed - in page preview in actinic it is showing the new version. This is being used for the homepage.

The home page in the preview page in actinic is the correct one but the one used for www.dentalwholesale.co.uk is the old version. I have done a website refresh and compact databases, all to no avail.

Argh! I deleted the index.html from the FTP program core - then thought actinic would automatically generate a new one based on the correct version in the page preview. However it did not so I reuploade the index.html but now I am getting a 403 error when I type in www.dentalwholesale.co.uk:

The website declined to show this webpage
        HTTP 403
        Most likely causes:
•This website requires you to log in.

I have a login and password that was used just to login into the acatalog - I'm not sure if this is causing the problem.

Anyhelp greatly appreciated before the inevitable flayings....

          On firefox I get this:

Forbidden, perhaps you need to change the file permissions for this document or upload an index page.

But I have reuploaded the index page?

I had to ring actinic support for this one! Thanks for response though.
