Upgrade from v9 to v11 - Any negative issues in search engine rankings?

I have a v9 Actinic site (not the one in my signature) with a bespoke design but no other add-ons or modifications.

I appreciate that the general consensus is to import the product catalogue and customer database into a standard v11 theme and then add the design once everything has successfully imported. I'm ok with that.

My question is; has anyone experienced any negative effects with their search engines rankings, in particular Google, when an upgrade to v11 has been done?

I just ran a straight site upgrade from V9 to V11 (imported the snapshot).

AFAIK in it's default state V11 looks and behaves just like V9.

There was no impact on the rankings in Google.

Finally getting around to the upgrade to v11 (it'll be unsupported before i get it done!).

Just wondering if I should follow any sort or checklist when upgrading or generally just upgrade it and have faith that all the Page Titles, Meta Descriptions and Content has transferred successfully?

The site i'm upgrading is www.hollywoodparty.co.uk so it's a very simple design and layout.

Think i'll just go for it!
