% Discount

Hi All

Cant wait sense of this one but I'm sure its a quickie !

I basically want to setup a discount on 1 product.

Where a customer purchases 1 item, if they purchase the same item again they get 50% off the 2nd same item

Hope this makes some sense


Would greatly appreciate your assistance with this one.

It should be straight forward, I have not done this before but roughly you need to:

1. Set up a product group through Marketing > Discount, Surcharge and Coupons > Product Groups on the Cart contents tab
2. New product group
3. Assign the product you want to discount
4. Then back on the Cart Contents, set up a new discount group and allocate to the product group
5. Set up the reward on the same tab, under reward type select % off extra product

I think that was roughly right, the help file is pretty good on this, look under discounts.
