permutation dependant pricing

I cant get the prices to change with size

I'm selling a product that increases with size. i have created a component, and choies and attributes within, but i just cant figure out the pricing.

do i have to put the 'from' price and then the additional in the permutations table or do i put the total price in the permutatuions table.

i think i have tried both and neither have worked.

Help.
