Is it possible to dynamically generate a price based on dimensions?

Hi - I want to be able to sell material by the metre on my site.

A customer needs to specify the width and length of the material which will generate a price.

Anybody know how I could do this in Actinic?

I believe I could generate the price using something like PHP, jQuery but no idea how to pass this to the cgi scripts.

    Any help would be appreciated
    Regards
    David

I thought Norman at drillpine http://www.drillpine.biz/ used to have something for this but I can't see it on his site.

I'd suggesting contacting him. It could save you a lot of time and effort trying to do it yourself.

I have such an add-on - Sell by Length, Area or Perimeter.

This allows you to sell items where the price is calculated from either:

The exact area ordered. Price calculated per square metre.

The length needed to be cut from a roll. Price calculated per linear metre.

The perimeter of a rectangle. Price calculated per linear metre.

You can also set the minimum and maximum dimensions allowed.

It can be tweaked to do other things too. Email for details.

UPDATE: Found an old V10 demo on http://www.drillpine.biz/v10-made-to...asure.html#a46
