Product and Component Quanties Both Shown in Confirmation Email

I would like to remove the quantity against the component in the customer email as the client is getting some confused customers. See attached.

I seem to remember seeing this on the forum but can't find it specifically referred to anywhere.

I suspect it will be either a perl mod or hard coded in the catalog application.

Any ideas please?
