Snapshot problems and now Sellerdeck won't open

    Hi All

I've been having problems with Sellerdeck V11 since soon after I installed it and it seems to be getting worse.

I recently downloaded and installed the latest copy of MDAC and then re-installed Sellerdeck, but it still isn't happy and gives the same error message:

Your system isn't configured correctly and SellerDeck cannot function. This is normally caused by the database components currently installed, and is acknowledged by Microsoft as a problem (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/te...redistmdac.htm).

In most cases it can be corrected by installing the latest copy (at least version 2.1.2.4202.3) of "Microsoft Data Access Components" or "MDAC" which can be downloaded from Microsoft. MDAC 2.6 is also supplied on the on Catalog install CD. If need to download it from Microsoft, click on the first link below to open your browser at the relevant page, and then follow the appropriate links.

After installing the new version of MDAC you may have to uninstall and then reinstall SellerDeck to obtain full functionality.

If you require any further assistance please contact your vendor. Contact details are available by clicking on the second link below.

Earlier on, I tried to publish the site to the web and it kept failing saying that there were Actinic Payments files missing - initially just one file, then two.

When I tred to do a snapshot earlier on, while Sellerdeck was still open, it said:

SellerDeck has encountered a problem, and has closed. You will need to restart it.
Details of the problem have been saved to a *.dmp file, which you will find in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck v11\Catalog_11_0_3_0_0_0_MHDB_1305161118.dmp'.

If you want SellerDeck's support team to look into this problem, click on the link below.

You may also need to send SellerDeck a snapshot by going to 'File | Snapshot | Export Site'. It is a good idea to have one of these ready to send.

I'm rather nervous about what might be wrong and about how bad it might be...

Please do not do anything untill you have found the MDB file "Actinic Cataloge.mdb" and made a copy of it and placed somewhere safe

If you have Access then you can double click on the copy and if it opens in access then you can try to repair it with Tools button repair and compact

If it looks ok and repairs then on the original site rename the original file to something like BackupActinicCataloge.mdb and copy the new repaired mdb back to it's old position then retry Sellerdeck

You therefore still have a copy of the original file named BackupActinicCataloge.mdb if it does not solve the problem
