    SellerDeck V11 - Unable to connect to synchronization server - User licence

    Hello,

    I have a big problem since I upgraded V9 to V11

    I have a main computer with Sellerdeck V11.0.3. MHDB

    I installed the user licence on an other computer

    When I launch SellerDeck on th 2nd computer, it see the 3 websites we have

    When I launch a website, It says "Initialising something", and 30 seconds afeter it gives me an error message (see linked image).

    Unable to connect to synchronization server... I disabled it and re-enable without changes...

    Please help...

    N.B.: Our system configuration on twice computer is WINDOWS 7 Pro 64

    I am guessing it might be due to the sync server ports being restricted by Firewall. Please see this thread which mentions the ports you will need to allow in Windows Firewall for SellerDeck synchronisation server to work.

      The computer with the Sync server on it must be turned on first before the slave computer is started

        Thank you very much,

        Now I can log with username and password... but SellerDeck dont open Catalog...

        Nothing appear on the computer, but the User connection is OK...

        If I want to log with the same Username/Passoword on server, It says Already connected...

        ...but Catalog didn't want to open on the 2nd User computer...

        If you want I can give you hand on the computer by Teamviewer

          when I take a look at "site directory" at the network disk M: it says Select Database, and the directory is not this I selected...

            You understand you cannot have the same site open at the same time by the same person on two computers

            You will need to register another user so that both can use the same site

            i.e. on say site 1 you can have fred logged in and also Suzy but not Fred and Fred

            Sorry if this is not what you are trying to do, not fully clear what the problem is

                So, the user computer is connected, but no SellerDeck window will open...

                  The linked database was on the path C:\.....

                  I changed the linked database to the virtual disk M:\....

                  any lost time...
