    Different Currency for different customers?

    Hi there,

was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to display different currencies in Sellerdeck assigned to different customers when they log in?

it would work the same as importing a special customer pricelist, we do this now, but we would want the symbol to be Euros instead of Sterling?

Currently we have special pricing for UK customers who log in, so it would be in addition to this. We also want to display Euro prices based on our pricelist, and not the default currency converter tool within Sellerdeck if possible.

    Any help would be appreciated!

The problem will be when they checkout and come to pay. The software will only allow one currency to be used (although it allows for display of approximate alternate currency pricing), so if its GBP normally, you can't switch it to Euro for specific customers at the checkout stage for some and others still use GBP...

      Hi,

Thanks for the update. This should not be a problem, as any Euro customers would have an account with us and wouldn't be paying via the site.

We have set up the Euro pricelist and the customer account, now the only problem we have is having specific customers to have a euro symbol instead of a pound symbol next to their pricing.

is there anyway to set it so that this can be done? have specific customers when logged in to show a Euro price symbol instead of the default £ one? we are not using the built in currency converter as our pricing is not working like that.

that is basically what we are looking for is a work around this. As once the order is imported into sage it will default to their euro account.

        Just a thought.

I have been on sites where you can select the currency that you view prices in, so adding something like this would work? as we have the pricing set for each customer when they logged in, they would just be selecting a euro icon, and changing the currency symbol displayed on the site?

basically what they do here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/
