I use Related Items for upsells, like so:

But sometimes the list gets REALLY long, and I would really like to be able to add checkboxes and put them in a scrollbox with a single add to cart button to save screen space and reduce ordering time for the customer.
I tried using Components (got the scroll box working a treat:

but I don't like how components cannot be removed without removing the whole item and re-adding. This could prompt an abandoned cart, I fear) and I also couldn't figure out how to add an info prompt to the component, which I use for fabric cut info.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
