we have never used Digital Downloads (DD) before but have come across a situation that seems to suit.
We are co-hosting a charity event where people need to pay £20 to participate. So I setup a product as DD and set the file to the PDF registration document.
I then setup 'Cash on Delivery' so we didn't have to do payments via SagePay/ PayPal - seemed easier for testing.
All seemed to work well, the link was in the Payment confirmation and the Email but the links fail - would 'Cash on Delivery' cause an issue? I can see a file in DD Folder that contains the name of the file I selected for DD Download.
During my searching I have found worrying issues related to DD when using SSL as well or using PayPal as a payment method, so am I wasting my time here with V11?
