Catalog Summary Reports

Hi

Is there going to be any changes to the catalog summary and details reports.

I remember that previous discussion/threads had mentioned thumbnails being included with these reports - a picture paints a thousand words.

Also some extra options to exclude products with zero price would be handy.

I'm afraid there are no changes to these reports beyond tidying them up and improving the look and feel.

So can i assume that we still have not moved beyond version 8 something for cystal reports then, i thought the current version was was 11 or XI for those that prefer the roman numerals.

Should these not have been updated aswell? soon support for this version will be only to specialised people with outdated versions

I'm bringing this up again with the development team, but it looks like we will be using 8.5 for the time being.

Hmmmmmmmm

We haven't upgraded from Crystal 8.5 because of the amount of work we would have to do for no user benefit.

Our eventual goal is to be able to change reports from within Actinic. Unfortunately, this isn't happening in v8 and we're also not planning a change of Crystal report version either.

So it's safe to buy Crystal 8.5 for the medium future.

no user benefit, not sure i would agree + v8.5 is now nearly twice as much as V11
