What Version of V8

Hi,

Just been playing around with V8, seems cool. I'm using V7 Actinic Developer at the moment.

Just one question, if I want to use the Dreamweaver intergation plugin and have multiple sites for selling like I do at the moment. Do I then have to buy..

1.Actinic Business Multi-Site £1249

and

2.Actinic Designer £350.

I come to this conclusion only because the Dreamweaver plugin only works when I elevate the trial 'Designer Actinic v8' and won't work if I elevate 'V8 Business'. Is this right?

As far as I know 'Business Multi-site' is the same as 'Designer' plus unlimited site licences (for personal use).

So you shouldn't need both designer and multi-site.

The Dreamweaver extension will work correctly with v8 Business Multi-Site.

It sounds like Designer is not the correct program for you as Designer does not have the ability to manage live orders.

So how do I test the Dreamweaver extension with 'V8 Business'. As the DW extension pops up a license erorr if I elevate 'Business V8'.

The DW extension seems only to work if I elevate 'V8 Designer'.

My understanding is:

If you select to evaluate the Merchant product range and select Business (not Catalog) - the plugin works.
It also works if you select to evaluate the Web Designer/VAR range - and select Designer (not catalog Client or Business Client).

Did you change the selection from Evaluate Web Designer to Evaluate Merchant when changing from Designer to Business?
