however I created a folder called Texas for keep the old design in case there was something there I needed to keep and copied my old site1 into it and now get this...
Some filenames conflict. All files being sent to the web site must have unique names. Please check the list of files in Advanced | Additional Files.
Some of the following files must be renamed before an upload can occur. Once the files are renamed, reselect them in the Actinic.
I wondered, if you look at "Design | Designer Options", it may be that "Site Upload is Enabled" is untick, and so is "Order Download is enabled". When testing out v8, I had a similar problem, and found out it was this
Hi Jo - no idea on what's causing the 'Texas' problem. It will need to be investigated by our support/development team. Actinic sites always are discrete from each other, so I cannot fathom why the site is getting so confused.
re my other thread, i've got a theme called "Texas" and a theme called "Daisy"
Oh OK. If 'Texas' is the theme name, then that makes a bit more sense, as themes are common to all sites within an Actinic installation.
What I don't get though, is why 'C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Sites\Texas\' was causing an error as if you have created a theme called 'Texas' this would be in 'Formats\Themes\Texas' rather than 'Sites\Texas'.
I think this is something that can only be untangled by someone looking at your database so support should be in touch soon.
