best sellers etc taking straigt tp products details

I noticed that when you click on a best selling item or related item it takes you to the section where the product is

for example on my home page:

http://www.sweetswholesale.co.uk/index.html

when you click on the 1st best selling line "chocolate icy cups" it takes you to the section "chocolate" which the product lies in.

I would prefer it to take you to the extended info page i.e.

http://sweetswholesale.co.uk/acatalo...491_WSALE.html

I am using the page layout "Creating a Listing Page which Links Through to Full Details Pages" as described in the advancd user guide. The means that I have a listing page in each section where you can purchase the item from or you can click on the image and get more info.

Is there anyway to change the way that actinic handles these links.

Hi David - try using either of the following variables for the links in the best seller item layouts as these link from the products to the extended info pages:
<actinic:variable name="ExtendedInfoPageEncoded" />
<actinic:variable name="ExtendedInfoPageName" />
