Network Settings (CGI)

Hi,

I am installing a fresh copy of v8 and can not get network settings to pass. It keeps asking me for my https:// address which I enter, but actinic says it doesnt work.

I then visit http://www.madmash.com/cgi-bin and https://www.madmash.com/cgi-bin to check that the addresses work, and they don't even though I can see them in my FTP. It says that you don't have permission.

Any ideas?

your SSL cert is issued to madmash.com and not www.madmash.com.

try turning SSL off within actinic

the forbidden message is probably quite in order, as you are trying to list the contents of a directory. Some hosts deliver the forbidden message rather than show the contents of the cgi-bin to all and sundry.
