Hi,

Not sure if this is right, but if I add a 'People who bought this item also bought:' to a product and then make a 'Duplicate Copy' of that product the 'People who bought this item also bought:' is not copied with the duplicate. Is that right?

Not at an Actinic PC at the moment but check under the Duplicates settings in the main program menus to see if they are set to accept the parent settings for the lists.........

Thanks for your reply, I ticked all the boxes on the 'Duplicate Field Configuration' in the Actinic menus and still the Duplicate products aren't showing 'Related product list' and 'Also bought this'.

I'm still having this simple problem - Please help.

If I do a ''Duplicate copy' of a product and that product has a 'Related product' or 'Also bought this item' on it, it's not copied over onto the 'Duplicaate copy'.

I can confirm that related items and also bought items are not carried over to duplicates. What I need to check is whether the software is working this way becasue it has been designed this way, or whether this is a bug.

One would hope it is a bug - duplicates were the godsend of v7.

Hopefully the software is able to recognise when a master product is bought and update the duplicate copies accordingly!

Yep - it looks like it is a bug. It'll be fixed in 8.0.1.
