    using dreamweaver for design

    Newbie Question -

    It is my intention to continue to use DW for site design and export the template to Actinic. Then to add the catalogue thereafter.

    After looking through the forums I did not find much info regarding the transition from DW to Actinic.

    Could someone outline the main steps involved for the above procedure?

    Or is there a tutorial or guide I could examine?

    Thanks,

    John

    Have you checked out the Advanced User Guide, the Design Guide or the "Help" button inside Actinic itself? The guides can be found as sticky threads at the top of this section

      The Design Course run by Actinic is pretty good and worth attending.

        Also, there is a 'Help' option in the 'Actinic' menu when you install the Dreamweaver extension which goes through how to use it.

          Thanks Chris,

          The Help section (in the Actinic Menu) helped a lot.

                  just for your information, if you are a regular DW user, I think you would benefit from visiting Adobe's site where they have self paced learning course that could prove invaluable.

                  Couple this learning in with your Act training would stand you in good stead as DW is a beast of a program and does a lot more than many users realise. This in turn would enhance your V8 results.

                  Best Wishes.
