Fragment Tabs

When you place a fragment into a brochure page then you get the fragment tabs ie just the selector for the fragment layout. However when you place a fragment into a catalog section you get the product layout tabs ie extended info, product layouts, atributes etc - this means I cannot format the fragment in the same way as a brochure fragment.

Is this the way it is supposed to be happening?

Ah - good call. Yes - the 'Fragment Layout' field is missing from sections isn't it?

You can fix this yourself by going to 'Design | Library | Layouts' and opening the 'Fragments' group. Then double-click on the 'FragmentLayout' layout selector and set the place of setting to 'Section'.

Sorted - thanks chris. I have also just noticed that the section icons on some sections/subsections are a different colour ie the majority look like they did in V7(green & red squares) but some now have green/red/blue squares - is this significant?

The icons will change if you have created a section with a shopping mode of 'Single Add To Cart Button Per Page'.
