CHECKOUT PAGE URL's HUGE??

Hi Guys

Just registered a new design for a client in DW, and testing on our local machine.

Got to checkout and the URL in the addy bar become HUGE?

No page title, no nothing, just a great big address full of %F2 etc.

Instead of 'Store Name & Checkout' we get a full cgi referring url?

The log is:

1 Registered design with actinic (within DW)
2 Inserted actinic content (baskets etc)
3 checked for BaseHref variable (and it is present just under the title
4 everything is compacted, cgi & html

Confused.... any help please as to what could cause this as this has never happened before, only in V8?

anybody have any idea how I can get V8 page titles within checkout to show?

All the basehref and <title></title> html is correct?

Daren,

V8 and v7 are similar as far as the checkout process is concerned. It will not be possible to do away with the cgi referring url as all checkout pages will go through cgi.

What I meant was the page title, no worries anyway, I seem to have resolved it.
