Problem with Dreamweaver Extension

I've just installed Actinic V8 and also use Dreamweaver V8. When I run the assitant mxp file I get an error message saying I must have at least version MX of Dreamweaver installed.
Should the dreamweaver extensions work with Dreamweaver 8?
