Can You Edit A V7 catalog in the V8 Designer

I was wondering if it is possible to import a V7 catalog site into the V8 Designer for editing.

If you import the site, it will be upgraded to v8 - automatically.You can have v7 and v8 both on the same computer and continue editing (and running) your v7 site in v7 while you redesign it into v8.

What you cannot do is have the v7 site live, and a v8 copy of the same (or a different) site live under a catalog upgrade licence.

You also will not be able to pass it back from your v8 back to v7 for a client to install and upload for example
