Merging design and catalog???

Hi!

I just bought Designer for myself and Catalog Client for a friend who I'm designing my first ecommerce site for.

Can I design the site whilst leaving them to use Catalog Client to add all the products and then merge the two later or do I have to design the site first? If so, can you choose exactly what to merge? i.e. the terms & conditions from one and the store description from the other etc.

Designer has a feature where you can create a design snapshot. Take a look at the snapshot options on the design menu
