    Discount Dilemma

We buy a product in in packs of 4.

I'm trying to set up a discount structure that will give a discount if a customer buys a mulitpul of 4 items. ie:

    1-3 items - 0% discount
    4 items - 10% discount
5 - 7 items - 10% discount off the first four, 0% discount on the remainder.
    8 items - 10% discount.

    and so on.

I'm trying to avoid setting up a new "4 pack" product code as that will complicate the stocklevels.

Does anyone know if it's possible to achieve this?

    Richard,

I dont think this is possible to do, especially the way you want the discount to be charged. Actinic recognises the trigger value and applies the discount to any number that is greater than the trigger value. I am runnig this past development to see if they can think of anything clever.

    Kind regards,

Can you try this. Create a product group with this product as a member. Now create a Cart content discount using a trigger of 4 for this product group, with a 'Reward Type' of '£ off' and put in what would be a 10% discount if they had four. This works as you want it to, it is only the '% off' options that calculates the discount for all above the trigger.

        Kind regards,
