    PSP Bounce Page help

Okay, maybe I'm missing something obvious, or maybe this really is complicated. But I'm sure someone out there can help me with this:

I'm editing the PSP Bounce Page. I've done the layout. Now I'm trying to edit the text that says:
Click Next to go to the provider's secure server and process your credit card details with complete confidence.
In the Design view, of the PSP Bounce Page, this text appears to be in the line that says PSPBulkHTML

This seems to be an Actinic variable, yet I can't find it in the library of variables, in fact I can't find a reference to it anywhere.

How do I change the text in this variable? I'd appreciate some help, and maybe an explanation of what I'm misunderstanding here.
    Kind regards,
    Phil Benjamin

You will find that bit in the CommonOCC folder, look in the template for the PSP you are using. You can edit the tetx there.

        Act_occpaypaltemplate

hi - I'm also trying to edit the text in the PSP bounce page (exactly as below) but for the Paypal Template. I'm an amateur so go easy on me.

I've changed the wording in Act_OCCPayPalTemplate (HTML Doc) (taking a copy first-phew!). I used 'Word' to do this.

Refreshing my site, this successfully changes the text I see BUT whatever I'm doing also seems to stop the button from taking me to Paypal. (It just returns me to the item I'd last bought).

If I reinstate the unmodified template, its fine.

Am I editing the wrong file? Using the wrong editor? Pursuing the wrong career?

You are definitely using the wrong editor - use notepad, not word. Word adds "stuff" to anything you edit with it that is not necessary and is guaranteed to break your site.

If all you change (using notepad) is the visible text and the button imagename, there should be no problem.

You may need to increment the number in OCCUpgrade.ini to get your changes properly parsed and included onto the site.

Thanks Bill. I'll have a go at that now.
