Horizontal Section Lists?

Is there some option/check box/layout drop down to change the TopLevelSectionList to a horizontal format? I see I can go to the List Layout Settings and add HTML to do this, but before doing this I wanted to make sure that I'm not 'reinventing the wheel'.

I think you need to do this one via editing the list layout code. Just strip all the <table>, <tr> and <td> code out and you will get there.
